Legacy is the Student Community at Church Two42. This is a gathering of students that are trying to establish a genuine Acts 2 community that inspires generations to boldly live out their destiny in Christ. That’s the vision. Plain and simple. We can’t understand God’s true passion, and love for us until we can see our true identity, which is found in Christ. As ones passion for God strengthens a compassion for His people becomes a natural reaction, thus giving way to a new life style which is a transformation from ones old life to a new life in Christ.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”  - Galatians 2:20

This is lived out by gathering together once a week to share testimonies and be inspired by God through the Bible, sermons, worship, and small groups designed specifically for grade and gender. A typical gathering consists of an engaging icebreaker, inspiring messages from the scriptures, live worship, and small group discussions.

Last, we encourage all parents to be active with your student in their Faith walk. One way you can do this is by going to church with them. Our Sunday morning services are designed knowing 9th-12th grade students are in the room. So the service can be enjoyed by the whole family.

  • The student community has defined four core values that we try to fulfill weekly.

    † UNASHAMED: Ones true identity in Christ and understanding of forgiveness leads to an unashamed life. Romans 8:1-11

    † UNAFRAID: Understanding Gods  promises and Gods Word will lead to a lifestyle of being unafraid of what the world can throw at us. 1 Peter 3:13-17

    † UNCOMPROMISING: Once one has an identity in Christ and understands Gods Character  and Word then living a life for God is the natural reaction we  should uphold no matter what the world offers. Galatians 1:6-12

    † SPIRIT - LED: Nothing can happen without the direction through scripture and Holy Spirit.  Galatians 5:22-23

  • Establish a community for 9th –12th grade students that helps them understand their identity in Christ so they can become UNASHAMED of who they are. As well as teaching them the true character and heart of God so they can live UNAFRAID; while they develop an UNCOMPROMISING lifestyle for Christ.
